The way you feel when you’ve heard a song a thousand times since, but you still feel like you’re back in that moment when you were listening, last summer, when it was hot and you were sitting in your room in the air conditioning and smiling just because you were falling in love. The way you feel almost a year later when you still miss that feeling, and you still hurt over the heartbreak that shortly followed.
The way I feel. Right now. I hope this summer brings me just as much happiness and none of that heartbreak.
